In 2000, ReKlaim Art was created with the simple goal of making use of excessive amounts of clean paper and Styrofoam that was going to landfills. We have grown to include reclaimed wood and metal.

Meet the Artist
Robin Elaine Bowman
from New Brighton, PA
Robin is a self-directed, mixed-media,
upcycled works artist
who has been awarded for her wood sculptures
and mixed-media work.
She is inspired by her background in science
and organic matter and has a penchant
for using synthetic items and
combining them with natural found objects.
Bowman makes her own paper and processes them
for long periods of time.
This paper is used to combine with other materials
to make animal sculptures.
She makes many of her tools for metal work and
has developed a hand stamping process with steel wire that produces one time only impressions.
The artist works primarily with the following:
°Reclaimed wood and paper items: Trays, boxes, and shelving.
° Repurposed materials: 2-d and 3-d mixed media art with found objects.
° Papier-mâché: 3-D mixed media with paper, clay, and other materials.
° Jewelry: creates small pendants with found paper and metal objects.
